Blog

The logo is a visual representation of everything your company stands for.I try to find something about the industry, relate the letters. and draw symbols.

Questions for the Clients:

I ask question about the company:

  • What is there mission and the Purpose of there mission?
  • What is there Internal(the employee proccess) and what is there external(who are the clients) culture like?
  • What is there personality and perception ?
  • What do you want your client to think about later on??
  • Once I'm done from the research, I begin to develop a concept.
  • I think about the different kind of logos and their a uses:
  • mark or Symbol
  • Type based logo
  • Most company use Monogram for really long name usually
  • Type plus Symbol

From the company answers , I make ideas into words

Starting on the Design

I start drawing words to symbols, and begin scetching right away and find out some things and decide. I look for a logo that is Striving for conceptual relevance, witch is wherever that concept is whatever that idea. the concept have to be relevent, the Conceptual relevance of the logo for the company's defining attributes. I also make a sure that the logo communicate the essence of the identity, and does it distinguish a company from its competitors.

I look for the right things about the company that I'm designing the logo for.

Color

Choosing a color for our situation if we need to a reversible contrast,it may be used on more backgrounds, and it is usually have better reducibility, seen as very clean, Gray-scale and color, perceived as modern.

I may try to combine the ideas together and see what I can come up with, and as a designer I shall make a decision choosing a recognizable logo

The meaning of color in the Design?

Studies show that a product's color has a 60-80percent influence over a customer's purchasing decision:

  • Red : - Aggressive - Energetic - Provocative - Attention - sexy
  • Purple : - Royalty -Sophistication - nostalgia - mystery - Spirituality
  • Blue : Trustworthy (for banks)- Security(data,tech) - Dependable - responsible
  • Green : Wealth - Health - Prestige - Serenity
  • Yellow : Positive - Happy - light - warmth - motivation - creativity
  • Orange : vitality - fun - Playful - Exuberant
  • Brown : Earth like - chocolate - natural - simplistic - durable
  • Black : Prestige - Value - Timelessness - Sophistication - death
  • White : Pure - Noble - clean - soft

For example: the insurance 'SUNRISE BENEFIT SOLUTION' the s may be the handle of the umbrella and the B cuts off the sunrise kinda of iconic

  1. using simple font no more than two fonts
  2. should look good in gray or black and white
  3. works if you take the symbol on the top
  4. the symbol it self works.
  5. all different idea should works
  6. FOUR COLORS MAX

To finish

At the end of design the logo shall be very well Balanced, it has little bit more weight to the left, but what is actually cool about it is the actual symbole could be taken off and used to stand alone symbol to represant the company. They were number of version that we went through. What's makes a good logo in first place.

Understanding new web:

The web is more diversified it\'s ever been we know have to account of numbers of devices sizes and operating systems and even and an input mechanisms, that means our content have to look good on each one of these devices and our platforms.

Designer have to evolve in orders to keep up with these changes, look for new technology that help us deliver content faster and more efficiently, and adapt new workflows that allows design as we build them so we new exactly how to look and react on any screen at any time, change the way we\'re thinking of our design how looks like and the functionality on them as well.

Modern Web Design workflows:

The fist step in the design workflow is to wireframe, putting your own idea into a physical form that we can see and interact with, it allows you to develop basic elemental relationships, set the content and allows the designer to drag and drop elements to the border, and arrange the to the finish product to represent later on.

The second step is the aesthetics faze, this is where to start define the main element stage to be applied to the content to be my project, this include color and typography.
